Smith spearheaded Boyd Gaming's acquisitions of the IP Casino Resort Spa in Biloxi, Mississippi in 2011 Peninsula Gaming's five properties in late 2012 Aliante Casino Hotel + Spa in North Las Vegas in September 2016 the Las Vegas assets of Cannery Casinos in December 2016 Valley Forge Casino Resort in Pennsylvania in September 2018 and Ameristar St. During this period, Smith significantly strengthened the Company's balance sheet and positioned the Company for growth through successful acquisitions.
